I'm a bilingual data journalist looking for work in data visualization and analysis, news app development or information design. I'm currently a data journalism intern for ABC News, but I have previously worked for USA Today, NBC4 Washington and The Diamondback – an independent student newspaper at the University of Maryland. I'm set to graduate in May 2023 with degrees in journalism and information science.
I have experience with enterprise reporting, feature writing, covering breaking news and editing. I'm interested in telling stories that explore public policy, race and ethnicity, immigration, equity, climate change, and their intersections. I'm comfortable working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, SQL, and R. In addition to data journalism, I'm deeply passionate about user experience and accessible design.
